Mocha Delight Cake - adapted from The Australian Women's Weekly Cookbook

Before,I always thought that baking a cake was a hard thing to do.There were so many do's and don'ts I never dared to even try.
But now I've found so many easy cake recipes that I'm really getting carried away with baking lately.Huhuhu..
This is another cake recipe that I tried today.Half was for Salman who returned back to his hostel this evening.
I didn't put any toppings coz it was still warm when I had to cut it for Salman.
Just out of the oven
Ingredients
125gm butter,chopped
1 1/2 (330gm) castor sugar
3eggs
2 cups (300gm) plain flour
1/2 cup (50gm) cocoa
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
2 tsp instant coffee
1/2 cup (125ml) sour cream
3/4 cup (180ml) water

Method
  1. Grease deep 23cm round cake pan, cover base with baking paper.
  2. Combine all ingredients in medium bowl of electric mixer, beat on low speed until all ingredients are combined. Then, beat on medium speed until mixture is smooth and changed in colour.
  3. spread mixture into prepared pan.
  4. Bake in moderate oven (175C) about 1 hour to 1 1/4 hours.
  5. Stand 5 minutes before turning onto wire rack to cool.
