Assalamualaikum everyone.Just haven't been myself lately.Sometimes I feel so unenergetic.But I still needed to cook.What with mum-in-law in the house.So I started looking round for something to make for tea.I got tempted looking at pictures of this apam so decided to give it a try.
Ingredients:- 2 cups castor sugar(you can put less if you want it less sweet)
- 1 tsp ovelette
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp double action baking powder
- 1 tsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp chocolate emulco
Bahan-bahannya:
- 2 cawan gula castor (boleh kurangkan jika tidak mahu terlalu manis)
- 1 st ovallete
- 2 cawan tepung gandum
- 1 cawan yogurt asli
- 2 biji telur
- 1/2 sdt double action baking powder
- 1 sdt serbuk koko
- 1 st coklat emulco
Method:
- Beat the eggs and sugar untill fluffy and light.It will turn to pale yellow.
- Add in yogurt,ovellette and vanilla essence.Beat again untill well mixed.
- In another bowl,sift flour with baking powder.Then add the wet ingredients into the wet ingredients.
- Stir well untill all ingredients are well blended.
- Scoop about 5 tbsp and put it in a separate bowl.add to it the cocoa powder and the chocolate emulco.Stir well.
- Put the batter in a muffin cup about 3/4 full. Just drop in a small portion of the chocolate batter on top.
- Steam on high fire.Make sure the steamer is boiling hot before placing the muffin cups.
- steam for about 15 minutes.
Caranya:
- Pukul telur dengan gula sehingga kembang dan bertukar warna putih pucat dan pekat beralun.
- Masukkan yogurt,ovellete dan esen vanila, pukul lagi.
- Kemudian masukkan tepung yang telah diayak dengan baking powder. Kacau sehingga sebati.
- Asingkan sedikit daripada adunan tersebut (lbh krg 5 sdb) dan campurkan serbuk koko dan coklat emulco, gaul sebati.
- Sendukkan adunan putih ke dalam cup muffin 3/4 cup, sudukan sedikit adunan coklat atasnya.
- Kukus dengan api kuat, pastikan kukusan sudah betul-betul panas baru letakkan kuih tadi. Kukus lebih kurang 15 minit, adunan yang masak akan mekar tersenyum...(ada jugak yang tak tersenyum kadang tu,tapi rasanya pasti sedap)
